Durolane

Durolane is a line of hyaluronic acid-based products manufactured by the Swedish company Q-Med and distributed by Bioventus, a leading global supplier in the field of orthobiologic solutions. Durolane is a single injection treatment used to relieve knee pain caused by osteoarthritis (OA), and thereby increase the patient’s capacity for physical activity. It is indicated for patients who cannot find alleviation using conservative methods such as exercises or physical therapy.

Durolane is used to treat mild to moderate discomfort associated with joint OA. The symptomatic therapy of mild to moderate hip OA, as well as the symptomatic therapy of mild to moderate OA pain in the ankle, shoulder, elbow, wrist, fingers, and toes, are among its indications. Durolane (1x3ml) is also recommended for patients with OA within three months after joint arthroscopy.
