Dry fish scales - Pink Perch

Pink Perch is a deep sea, wild caught fish. It is abundant in coastal waters, found on mud or sand bottoms, usually in schools.

Pink Perch (Rani fish) feeds mainly on small fishes, crustaceans, mollusks (mainly cephalopods), polychaetes and echinoderms.

The scientific name of Pink Perch is Nemipterus japonicus. It is also commonly called Japanese Threadfin Bream or Nihon Itiyori (in Japanese).
