Product Description
Cypriol oil is extracted from the rhizome of the shrub of Cyperus scariosus. It is grown extensively in the state of Madhya Pradesh in India. The stem of the plant is aromatic and the oil contains alkaloids, minerals, calcium, sodium and carbonates. The extraction method used is steam distillation and the scent is woody, earthy and lingers for a long time. The oil is dark brown in colour but can also become transparent green. As the colour changes the scent also changes and smells more like wood. It blends very well with Bergamot, Clary Sage, Labdanum and Patchouli.
