Cinnamon Bark Oil

Cinnamon bark oil is extracted from steam distillation from the evergreen Cinnamon tree, which is a native of Sri Lanka. It is a spice obtained from the inner bark of several trees. It has delicate aroma of the spice with a puntent taste. It is known for its flavour more than anything else. It finds major usage in the flavouring industry where it is used for food seasonings, pickles, bread, meat and cold drinks. It is also used in dental or pharmaceutical industry. Its colour is yellow or brown and has earthy, woody and spicy odor. The oil blends with lavender, frankincense, cedarwood, citrus oils, elemi, ylang ylang and other floral notes and benzoin.
