Chondroitin sulphate sodium /calcium (from Shark, Bovine, Porcine, Chicken).


It is an important component of connective tissue and is present in fish, mammalian and bird cartilage. As an acidic polysaccharide, it is composed of chondroitin sulphate A, C and various. In cartilage, it assists in providing texture, elasticity and moisture binding.
Usually, shark cartilage contains mainly chondroitin-6-sulphate (also referred to as CSC) and bovine, porcine and chicken cartilages contain mainly chondroitin-4-sulphate (also referred to as CSA).
We can manufacture different content of chondroitin sulphate from shark, bovine, porcine and chicken cartilage and the product can comply with USP and customers special specifications.

Use:
It has many different pharmaceutical, dietary supplements, cosmetic and veterinary uses.
In the pharmaceutical industry it is used in a wide variety of anti-rheumatic and anti-inflammatory products. It is also used in a range of different ophthalmic products ranging from eye drops to surgical solutions.
In the dietary supplement industry, chondroitin sulphate has found various uses ranging from the treatment of arthritis to the preservation of eyesight. It is used in both capsules and functional drinks.
The major cosmetic use of chondroitin sulphate is in skin creams. Chondroitin sulphate hold up 30 times its weight in water, an ability which gives it very good moisturizing properties.

Packaging:
Drug grade Chondroitin sulphate is sealed in double-layer pharmaceutical polyethylene bag and General grade is sealed in double-layer polyethylene bag, then both are placed in cardboard drum outer packages. The usual package configurations 25kg/drum or 50kg/drum.

Storage: Preserve in tight container.
Validity: Three years.
