Operating Principle
Ball mill consists of a horizontal cylindrical shell, provided with renewable wearing liners and grinding mediumý¨steel balls. In the low-speed rotating shell, steel balls cling to the liner under the influence of inertia and friction. Then they will be taken to a certain height and thrown down as a result of the gravity and centrifugal force. In this process, the materials continuously dropped from one end of the cylinder will be smashed by the balls. In adittion, both the balls and materials will be rolling and sliding irregularlly together. Therefore, the materials will become finer and finer.
