Product Description
Carrot seed oil refers to the essential oil extract from the seed of the carrot plant Daucus Carota. This oil is known to have an earthy, woody, sweet smell. Carrot seed oil is usually yellow or amber-coloured; it can also be pale orange-brown. One of the most important ingredients of the carrot seed oil is carotol. This Carotol serves as a primary ingredient in carrot seed oil which consists 40% of the essential oil.
The Carotol was isolated by the scientists Asahina and Tsukamoto in the year 1925.
