Broccoli, known as a super-vegetable, is native to Italy. The vegetable had been in the staple diet of Romans and other western cultures for a long time. Broccoli or Brassica oleracea as per the scientific norms, is widely used in foods. In the modern times, broccoli is consumed in foods for the benefits it provides.
