[Main components] Blood coagulant is composed of thrombin, alcohol, silica powder, emulsifiers, and surface-active agent composition, etc. It is a suspension liquid.
[Scope of application] Blood coagulant can be made into vacuum blood collection tube and injectable blood collection tube, which can be used in clinical medical inspection. In the same tube, the laboratory technician can complete such operations as taking blood samples, rapidly separating serum and transferring samples.
[Coagulation promoting principle] Activate some coagulation factors in plasma and platelets, promote the formation process of thrombin and fibrin clot, accelerate the contraction of blood clot, and achieve the purpose of rapid separation of serum.
[Usage and Dosage ]
1.This product can be sprayed by machine or added manually. During the adding process, continuous stirring is required to keep the suspension uniform and fully ensure the consistency of all effective ingredients.
2. Mechanical stirring, electromagnetic stirring, pneumatic stirring and other methods can be adopted to keep the suspension uniform; Stirring speed shall be adjusted according to the actual situation;
3. After adding, it is necessary to dry the coagulant(not required for non-organic solvent coagulant). The drying temperature of hot air can be 40-80℃, and the time can be 7-120s; the drying temperature of drying oven or drying room is about 40℃, and the time shall be subject to thorough drying;
4. This product can promote the coagulation of 2-5ml blood rapidly by adding 20-30ul at 20-25℃. When the ambient temperature is less than 20℃, or the blood collection volume is more than 5ml, the amount of coagulant should be increased appropriately. If irradiation sterilization is required, it is recommended to increase the added dose of coagulant by about 20%.

Blood coagulation promotion is related to environmental temperature, degree of reverse blending, blood characteristics of patients, coagulant performance and blood collection volume, especially with the greatest correlation with temperature. When the ambient temperature of blood collection is lower than 20℃, the dosage of coagulant should be appropriately increased, The Times of upside-down mixing should be increased, the coagulation time should be prolonged, or it should be used in conjunction with the water bath box at 36℃.
1.Insufficient coagulation will cause blood cells and fibrin filament wall hanging and mild hemolysis. When the blood of some patients is not completely coagulated at one time, the coagulation process may be stopped, collagen precipitation or no serum separation after centrifugation.
2.After 5-15 minutes of coagulation, the blood is centrifuged on the machine, which may cause secondary precipitation of fibrin filaments. Fibrin filaments float in the serum, easily causing probe blockage.
3.When the coagulant is used together with the separation gel, the poor coagulation effect will affect the serum quality and the isolation effect of the separation gel.
4.It is recommended to use γ - ray radiation irradiation with a dose of 8 ~250KGy. The radiation dose is controlled by the number of initial colonies.
5.It is recommended not to touch the coagulant directly by hand, but to rinse with water when sticking to the skin.
