Product Description
Black Pepper Oil is extracted from the unripe red fruit of the plant, Piper Nigrum, using steam distillation. This is essentially a warming agent for the body and mind. The plant is a creeper and grows with suppot only. The oil has been used since the time of Romans and Greeks for various useful purposes. The main constituents of Black Pepper oil is caryophyllene, beeta-pinene and phellandrene. It is almost colourless but it is gently greenish in appearance. It is insoluble in water but soluble in alchohol and other organic solvents. It is used in sports massage oils because of its analgesic and warming properties.
