Bitter Orange Oil

Bitter Orange Oil has both sweetness of an orange and bitterness of grapefruit. It has medicinal value and helps treat large number of health disorders like gastrointestnal disorders, headaches, insomnia and besity. The oil blends well with lavender, clary sage, lemon, myrrh & spicy oils like nutmeg, cinnamon & clove. Bitter orange comes from citrus tree and its fruit. This is very common in southern India, specially in cuisine. The juice of the fruit is also used to marinade meat. The bitter orange tree of the orange family is widely cultivated in Canada, Florida, the Mediterranean region and California. It has the capability of growing in all types of soil.
