DAY 1: ARRIVAL SAIGON

Pick you up on arrival and transfer to the hotel, check in and free time at leisure on your own of exploration the city. Overnight Saigon

DAY 2: CU CHI TUNNELS 1DAY

Early in the morning, we pick you up at your hotel and depart for cu chi tunnels. By 1965, 250 km of tunnels criss-crossed Cu Chi and surrounding areas -just across the Saigon River was the notorious guerrilla power base known as the IRON TRIANGLE. The Cu Chi tunnels played a vital part in the American war in that they allowed the Viet Cong to control a large rural area only 30 to 40 km from Saigon. At its height, the tunnel system stretched from Saigon to the Cambodian border. The network, parts of which were several levels deep, included innumerable trap doors, specially constructed living areas, storage facilities, weapons factories, field hospitals, command centres and kitchens. Today the remaining tunnels have become a major tourist attraction giving the visitor a unique experience and feel of what underground life in the American War must have been like. The tunnels have been widened for our benefit (otherwise we would not be able to enter them!) For those interested there’s even the opportunity to fire off rounds from an AK47 or MK16 at the nearby rifle range. Allegedly the old wooden targets resembled US Marines! Return back to Saigon for lunch, next will be visiting the Reunification Palace, war Museum, China Town and Notre Dame Cathedral. At early this afternoon, tour will be finished at your hotel.Overnight Saigon (B/L)

DAY 3: SAIGON-CAI BE - CAN THO (ABOARD)

Depart from your hotel in Saigon this morning and Heading for Mekong delta to the City of Cai Be some 2hours away from Saigon, there is plenty time for your stop en route for photography and seeing the daily life of people in Mekong delta of Vietnam. Boarding at Cai Be at noon. Welcome drink, Introduction to the ship and crew, check into the cabins. Departure towards Cho Lach on the Tien Giang river. Lunch while on route. Rest on the deck. The Bassac slips into the Chợ Lách canal, in the middle of the hustle and bustle of the river traffic, between markets and churches, a unique opportunity for a glimpse of the very varied life on the banks as well as on the water. Visit of a village on the banks of river Mang Thit, an opportunity to appreciate the way of life and hospitality of the local inhabitants. Visit of the orchard or rice fields nearby. Boarding back, complimentary drink as a welcome back on board. Rest on the deck enjoying the sunset. The crew will serve dinner while the Bassac is cruising Mang Thit river. The Bassac sets anchor just downstream from the little Tra On floating market, for the night (B/L/D)

DAY 4: CAN THO CRUISES AND SIGHTSEEING

You may get up for breakfast as early as 06:30, as the ship is resuming its cruise the Tra On floating market. The ship then departs towards Can Tho. Arrival in Cai Rang floating market, check out and transfer onto a local boat to visit the floating market, the nearby arroyos and gardens and return to the Ninh Kieu pier, check-out and Pick up to transfer to your hotel in Can Tho. Free time on your own of exploration the city later. Overnight Can tho (B/L)

DAY 5: CAN THO- SAIGON

Have breakfast in the hotel and check out the hotel, heading back Saigon, there is plenty picture stop en route today. on arrival Saigon, transfer to your hotel. Overnight Saigon (B/L)

DAY 6: SAIGON- DANANG (FLIGHT)

Free at leisure until transfer to Tan Son Nhat airport for flying to Danang city, Pick up on arrival Danang airport and transfer to the hotel in Hoi an ancient town, Free time on your own of exploration the city. Overnight in Hoian (B)

DAY 7: HOI AN WALKING TOUR 1/2DAY

Hoi An was a thriving international commercial port for Chinese, Dutch, French, Japanese, Portuguese and Arab traders. These people came primarily to trade in the high grade silk, which is still produced in the area, as well as ceramics. Depart at 8.00 am from your hotel and our walking tour through the narrow winding streets of the Ancient Quarter visiting Chua Ong Pagoda, Chinese Assembly Halls, the 200 - year old, Tam Ky ancestral house, and the Japanese Bridge. Tour ends at 12.00am. Overnight Hoi an (B)

DAY 8: HOI AN -HUE

Have breakfast at the hotel and free time at leisure, next is our driving heading north to hue, some 120 km away from Hoian, Lunch is on the way at Lang Co beach, On arrival Hue, we check in hotel in Hue. Hue was once the capital of the Nguyen Dynasty of Emperors from 1802-1945. There are many mausoleums to visit as well as the fascinating Dong Ba Market, famous for selling the best conical hats in Vietnam. Our tour will to visit the Imperial Citadel and the Mausoleums of former Emperors Khai Dinh and Tu Duc. In the evening, dinner is served at top local restaurant. Overnight Hue (B/L/D)

DAY 9: HUE- HANOI/ FLIGHT

After breakfast, you will have free time until a car pick up to Hue Airport for a flight to Hanoi. On arrival, meet our driver and transfer to the hotel. After lunch, take one hour of Cycling trip for sightseeing Hanoi old quarters. Taking this mean of transportation is the best way to have a close look at the 36 streets in Hanoi. At late afternoon, you will see the show of Water Puppet, a unique art having the origin in the Red River delta from tenth century. At the end of the day you will come back to the hotel for overnight.(B/D)

DAY 10: HANOI – HALONG BAY (ABOARD)

In the morning, you will take a 3 hours drive from Ha Noi to Ha long. Stop en route for relaxing at a handcraft center at Sao do town. Carry on our driving for one and half hours more. At around 12 pm we will get to Ha Long city, where you will board on our traditional - designed wooden junk. Lunch will be served while the boat is sailing for the Sung Sot Cave. Get off the boat for visiting the cave, next is cruising to Titop Beach for swimming or just sitting on the boat’s top deck and looking the sun is slowly setting to behind the formations at middle Halong bay. Overnight on boat.(B/L/D)

DAY 11: HALONG BAY - HANOI

Wake up to fresh coffee and a wholesome breakfast before cruising back to Halong City. En route the junk weaves through strange-shaped rock formations that invite comparisons from fighting cocks to dragons and even General de Gaulle’s nose! After seafood lunch on board we return back to the dock, meet our car and drive back to Ha Noi. We will arrive to the hotel at around 3.00 PM. Free time for walking at the old quarter or shopping until picking up for dinner. Overnight in Hanoi.(B/L)

DAY 12: DEPARTURE HANOI

Free at leisure until our driver will come to pick up you to transfer back the airport for flight onwards. Tour ends at airport (B)
