BMK Glycidate
The powder gives out a high yielg,70%,of BMK oil.( Benzyl Methyl Ketone,P-2-P,Phenylacetone CAS:103-79-7)
Reaction procedures to convert the powder to BMK oil:
1. Needed materials: BMK glycidate, water, 37% Hydrochloric acid
2. All materials in proportion: BMK:Water:HCl=1:2:2;
3. Mix all three compounds together;
4. Stirring the mixture solution in 95®C for 1.5 hour before stop for layer separation;
5. Cooling the reacted solution;
6. Use separation funnel to retrieve the BMK oil.
