The bay leaf oil is taken out by carrying out the steam distillation of fresh leaves of Bay. This plant is successfully grown in the climates similar to the Mediterranean. Bay leaves comprises of several beneficial constituents like alpha pinene, beta pinene, geranyl acetate, alpha terpineol, eugenol, havicol, limonene, etc.
