Aplications: Selective 12-lipoxygenase inhibitor (ID50=0.12¥Ìm, platelet 12-LO). Inhibits leukotriene biosynthesis (at higher concentrations) and release of lysosomal enzymes. Inhibits cellular Ca2+uptake and calcium mobilization. Inhibitor of protein tyrosine kinase in leukemia (CEM) cells. Inhibits adjuvant induced arthritis.
