This is NOT a needlepoint or pile rug but an actual French Aubusson flat weave, done exactly as it was centuries ago in France. It is entirely handwoven with New Zealand wool with silk accents on cotton foundation. Most of the flowers are made with silk. This rug is a perfect companion for rooms with European or Traditional furnishing and decor.
