Asbestos with PTFE packing is braided from asbestos yarns impregnated with PTFE dispersion, treated with pure minenal oil. Asbestos with PTFE packing is a flexible, resilient, homogeneous and compact packing. Asbestos with PTFE packing can be utilized on stainless steel or chromed shafts in the presence of high peripheral speeds without etching them. Asbestos with PTFE packing is suitable for alkalis, thinned inorganic acids, water, steam, organic gases, solutions of every kind. Asbestos with PTFE packing can be utilized in paper mills, dyeing plant, foodstuff, pharmaceutical and oenologic industries.
