| Specification: | Creative Biolabs provides customized ADC products targeting GD2. CD2 was discovered in 1942. It is a disialoganglioside expressed on tumors of neuroectodermal origin. Gangliosides are composed of glycosphingolipid and sialic acids (N-acetylneuraminic acid, Neu5Ac or NANA), which are nine-carbon monosaccharides. GD2 has two NANA (α-2,8 bound sialic acid and α-2,3 bound sialic acid), and is derived from precursor GD3 by adding Gal-NAc through the enzyme GM2/GD2 synthase (β1,4-N-acetylgalactosaminyltransferase). |
