Product Description
Amyris oil is attained by carrying out the steam distillation of the aromatic, medium-sized tree with the name Amyris balsamifera. This tree is mostly found in the Caribbean area along the Gulf of Mexico. Its sweet fragrance permits it to blend well with a large number of oil including pine oil, geranium oil, spruce oil, myrrh oil, cedar wood oil, galbanum oil, etc.
About 95% of it consists of 56 constituents; these constituents are dominated majorly by the sesquiterpene alcohols. This oil is known to have antiseptic properties and is known to aid in relieving stress. It is widely used as a muscle relaxant, soothing agent, stimulant, etc.
