Some time ago, a Russian customer mentioned in a chat that many of his colleagues didn't know much about the material of the seal ring of the hydraulic valves and lacked judgment in the purchasing process of the hydraulic valves. They were recommended by the manufacturer every time, which led to the leakage of most products. How to select the material of the seal ring?

In fact, more than one customer has mentioned this problem to me. 1. NBR: NBR has excellent resistance to fuel oil and aromatic solvents, but not to ketone, ester and hydrogen chloride. Therefore, oil resistant sealing products are generally based on nitrile rubber.

2. Fluorine rubber: fluorine rubber has outstanding heat resistance (200 ~ 250 ℃), oil resistance, can be used for manufacturing cylinder liner seal ring, rubber bowl and rotary lip seal ring, it can significantly improve the service time.

3. Silicone rubber: silicone rubber has outstanding high and low temperature resistance, ozone resistance and weather aging resistance. It can maintain its unique use elasticity, ozone resistance and weather resistance in the working temperature range of - 70 ~ 260 ℃. It is suitable for making the sealing gasket required in the thermal mechanism, such as strong light source lamp cover sealing ring, valve gasket etc.

4. Polyurethane rubber: polyurethane rubber has excellent grindability and good air tightness, and the service temperature range is generally - 20 ~ 80 ℃. In addition, it has medium oil resistance, oxygen resistance and ozone aging resistance, but it is not resistant to acid-base, water, steam and ketones. It is suitable for manufacturing all kinds of rubber sealing products, such as oil seal, O-ring and diaphragm.
