Middle East Electricity (MEE) is the world’s largest power event, welcoming over 1,500 exhibitors from 61 countries and over 20,000 unique attendees from 126 countries making the event a truly international gathering for the entire power sector.
Based in the popular destination of Dubai in the UAE, the exhibition provides a gateway for international companies to promote their products and services to the lucrative Middle Eastern market and the surrounding African and Asian regions.
The exhibition provides a platform for networking, business development and education for the power, lighting, nuclear, new and renewable sectors.
To facilitate training and education, Middle East Electricity offers a comprehensive programme of technical seminars facilitated by leading companies to showcase new developments and projects which are must-attend presentations for anybody in the power industry. These free to attend technical seminars give visitors the opportunity to learn about new products and services in the market and keep up-to-date with the latest trends.
Additionally the exhibition plays host to the Green Energy Conference and Lighting Middle East Conference which gather industry experts and thought leaders to discuss key topics in these industries. The organisers of Middle East Electricity are committed to developing the future of the energy industry and in 2014 proudly presented the inaugural edition of Future Generation – a competition for undergraduate engineering students in the UAE. The competition invites students to present their ideas for energy efficiency or alternative energy with the hope of winning an award from either a panel of judges or the “People’s Choice Award” as voted for by visitors to the exhibition.
