The predecessor of Shanghai Esong Mine Machinery Co., Ltd. is the Shanghai Esong Mine Machinery Group. It has restructured to Shanghai Esong Mine Machinery Manufacture Co., Ltd. since April 20, 2001. in 2008 the state-owned stock withdrew Esong Group and officially changed its name to Shanghai Esong Mine Machinery Co., Ltd. after the share-holding system transformed.

The head quarter of the company is Shanghai Baoshan Industrial Park. It covers an area of 50000 square meters with 18000 square meters standardized factory workshop and more than 100 medium-sized processing equipments, which can realize the annual production of more than 800 sets of mining equipments.
