Oligo-Chitosan
Oligo-Chitosan consists of 2-20 of 2-amino-2-deoxy-¥Â-D-glucose linked by ¥Â-1, 4-glycosidic linkages in various proportions. Oligo-Chitosan has many extraordinary biological functions: it can regulate the human immunity, anti-tumors, anti-bacterial, regulate plantsÿ® growth and protect plants against disease. Its application covers a broad range, such as medicine, food industry and agriculture, etc.
Our products are prepared by enzymatic hydrolysis of chitosan produced by de-N-acetylation of chitin from exoskeleton of crustaceans. We use ultra-filtration membrane enzyme reactor system and nano-filtration membrane separation system to control the degree of enzymatic hydrolysis and our productsÿ® degree of polymerization (DP) ranges and DP distribution are analyzed with TOF-MS and HPLC-ELSD.
The validity period of oligo-chitosan is 24 months if stored in room temperature and prevented from the sun and moisture.
