I realized after purchasing the item that it was the wrong item for the intended purpose, so before the item was marked as dispatched, I sent a message requesting the supplier to cancel the order and refund my money, they did not, they instead marked the order as dispatched, then replied telling me it was too late to cancel the order. I do not believe the order had left their facility by this time, as not enough time elapsed between the initial purchase, my message, the item being marked dispatched, and the company's reply.

I would not use this Chinese supplier to buy anything again, as they clearly had no intention of refunding my transaction, as far as they were concerned, they had a sale and they wanted to keep it that way, absolutely horrific customer service from this company, and ebay are just as bad for not having a simple "cancel" button for items which have not been dispatched, it would save buyers being at loss all the time
