We needed (and still need) 100 pieces obsolete but unused Wavecom Q64 modems. We rejected all offers where suppliers offered used parts. Mr. Eric Sen Lin from E-NET CHINA INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY CO., LIMITED offered new and unused modules, so we placed an order. Before I placed an order I had made a search on google to find out if there is anything is suspicious with this company. All seemed OK, they looked to be a decent Chinese company. Made prepayment, transaction costs were covered by us. When the modems arrived they appeared used with the signs of corrosion and above all, the modems were all country locked, therefore totally useless in Europe. We sent the modems back. Mr. Eric offered replacement modems. We received nothing, but promises. We asked for proper paperwork in order to cancel the invoice and to get the paid taxes back: Eric literally denied any support. We asked for other type of modems, or RF connectors for compensation: we got nothing. After 4 months of communication we have no money back and not any products.

It is all the same how careful you are, you can always run into such opportunistic suppliers. Limit your purchases from China, or purchase from suppliers who you already know!
