In November 2023 we purchased 910 tons of steel coils from Shandong Guanyu Steel Manufacturing Co.,Limited, for a total of USD 443.600. In the beginning, all the contacts were very professional. They provided samples for testing, made the booking and everything was ready to ship in the beginning of December. Just before the shipment, they told us the material had a price raise and they applied an increase of around 30% over the arranged price to make the shipment. We did not agree and they refused to return the payment. After this, offered to deliver 50% of the material, also not agreed. We had to hire an attorney to negotiate and in January 2024 we found out they did not have the material. They signed an agreement to refund the payment, but they did not make the payment. In March they signed a new agreement to refund splitting in smaller amounts, also they did not do it. After that they do not answer our contacts. We had to start a legal action against them for fraud and illegal appropriation. We are waiting for the decision from the court to freeze the accounts and assets and order the refund of the payment + penalties.
