Supplier told my Hong Kong office that she would be providing new wiring information for our second payment. We wired the money to the wiring information provided. Supplier then claimed they never received the money. We suspect that the supplier may have gotten their computer hacked/hijacked. Supplier denied having their computer/email hacked even after we showed their company documents to them with the erroneous wire info that had all shipment details and their company chop on it. Their position was that we just decided to wire a 2nd payment to an erroneous address and they had no liability. Held our goods hostage until we were forced to pay the $32,600 a second time - which we were forced to do to uphold our deal with the end buyer. The factory in China took no responsibility and therefore we have no choice to believe that they were either complicit in the theft or do not have adequate internet security that will lead to other importers and buyers like us being cheated out of large sums of money. The supplier's lack of responsibility would lead me to caution anyone and advise that you not work with Catherine Shao and Yiwu Kade Housewares.
