The supplier (Stanley) online and Ding Xuesong on his account name for western union, sent me his first email in the year 2014, that he got my details from Alibaba for promotional items, he sent us mail once in a while, but never returned his mail until around May this year, when I asked for his price lists, and he sent it to me. I then asked him to do an artwork for baseball cap and he did send the design artwork. We then made first payment as part payment for production of 600 pieces, the payment was made through agent in China that we have been using for procurement for long, and he sent the slip of the part payment to me and i sent to him and he confirmed the payment on July 16th 2015, he then produced sample of the job before mass production and I gave him the go ahead. He later sent a message that the job is finished and requested for balance and we made the balance payment on August 6th, we then requested for tracking details for the shipment to our agent in Guangzhou. He said they used logistic company that will inform our agent when they to his place. and we discovered that our agent didn't receive any goods and all calls to his phone was not going through, and he refused to reply to my email and Skype messages was answered twice. On the 13th August, he said Lanre right? and he said What happen? and he later blocked us from skype chat. We sent him several email and he didn't respond, our agent that paid him in China also placed calls to him but none was going through. We later use another email to make inquiry from him ([email protected]) and he quickly responded, and he provided the same bank details we paid to and offered us new number when we disguised and complain that his number is not going. Sincerely, this is my first experience like this. My advise is that buyers should check and cross check on the sellers and their company. If possible you need to talk and communicate with more than one people in a site. However, showing picture of only 1 or 2 samples is not enough to show that production is complete. One needs to shine eyes well. But on a general note, Chinese government needs to do more to curb the activities of this nefarious people.
