Buyer’s Au Check List
1. Before Sale Purchase Agreement (SPA), Buyer side and Seller side need to confirm below information:
- Bank to bank verification to confirm issuing and receiving account information;
- Ownership Certificate;
- buyer team and Owner need to confirm each other ID on Zoom;
- If there is Financier, we will need both owner and financier in Zoom together, to make sure everyone understands the Standard Operation Procedure (SOP) and details;
- Need to confirm verbiage of Performance Bond (PB) and Document Letter of Credit (DLC).
- A complete set of transaction documents including export, import, customs documents and Financier documents etc.
- Prefer to have live video for Gold Dore/Bar/Bullion (Randomly pick two pieces and knock each other, Write Buyer’s Name with same day newspaper, Digital Weigh to indicate numbers. It will be plus if owner has weight, density, purity video as well as refining procedure videos);
- Final purchasing price will be calculated based on Hong Kong refinery results out of 99.99% purity in Hong Kong;
2. Sign Contracts and Agreements:
- NCNDA;
- Go over draft SPA details, especially documents delivered after signing SPA;
- IMFPA All parties;
- Signed SPA;
3. After Signing SPA
- Has to provide live video for Gold Dore/Bar/Bullion (Randomly pick two pieces and knock each other, Write Buyer’s Name with same day newspaper, Digital Weigh to indicate numbers. It will be plus if owner has weight, density, purity video as well as refining procedure videos);
- Four Proof of Products (POP) including: 1) Original Commercial Invoice 2) Certificate of Origin 3) Certificate of Ownership 4) Assay report (could be original refinery report);
- Buyer bank issues MT199;
- Seller/Financier issues valid and active 2% PB;
- Buyer bank issues MT700 DLC;
- Complete POP (Nine set of Documents, Au Owner has to be SPA signer);
- Packing Video to Airplane and Security Box code (The final label to put into Security Box, sealed);
- Tracking Airplane;
- Arriving in Hong Kong Airport, Clear Custom, End Buyer will pay custom fees;
- Contact with Refinery Staffs and Pre-arrange Brinks into Airport;
- Deliver to Refinery and generate Test Report;
- Refine, Payment will be made in 72 hours;
- Ownership transfer to End Buyer;
- Pay Commission based on IMFPA;
- Prepare next round Export Documents, Shipping Date, Receiving Date, Refinery Schedule, Commercial Invoice.
